Biography

Rene Domingo is an international management consultant, professor, executive coach, author, and speaker specializing in strategic planning, total quality management, lean systems, business process reengineering, productivity improvement, supply chain management, and operational excellence. An industrial engineer trained in the Toyota Production System in Japan, he brings over 40 years of consulting and training experience across Asia, covering industries such as manufacturing, construction, mining, aviation, petrochemicals, healthcare, banking, education, and advertising. Rene has authored several influential books, including Quality Means Survival, It’s the Customer – Your Real Boss, and co-authored Turnaround Management: Best Practices from the Indonesian Experience. He has served as a consultant for the World Health Organization, advising on hospital management and systems, and is a full-time and adjunct faculty member at the Asian Institute of Management. Rene is also a strategic coach for SMEs and B2B clients, guiding them through business turnarounds and sustainable growth.
