With over 20 years in Information and Cyber Security, she has expertise in IT Infrastructure, Cloud Security, Risk Management, Privacy, and more. She was the VP and Group CISO of the largest Power DU Conglomerate in the Philippines. Currently, she leads Women in Security Alliance Philippines (WiSAP) and holds roles in the ASEAN and Philippines CIO Associations. Named a top influencer by IFSEC Global and among the Top 30 Women in Security ASEAN 2021, she was also the 2021 CISO of the Year. Mel collaborates with government and law enforcement to enhance digital literacy and protection through the Whoscall app, utilizing AI to combat scams.
